Obituary of Evelyn Churchill

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at Lake Side homes in Gander on August 31, 2020, Mrs. Evelyn Elisie Churchill aged 88 Years of Twillingate. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Gordon & Leah Watkins; husband Thomas; sisters: Mae (Cyril) Jenkins & Margaret Watkins; brothers: Frederick (Lucy), Roy & Elmo (Rose). Evelyn leaves with beautiful memories: children: Beverley Churchill, Joanne (Robert) Parsons, John (Rozell) Churchill; grandchildren: Krista (Andrew), Bradley (Denene), Bethany (Matthew), Stephanie, Jessica (Caleb); great grandchildren: Lincoln, Audrey, Madelyn; brother Bill (Claudine) Watkins; sister-in-law Ruby Watkins; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service with burial at the Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery. Donations may be given in Evelyn’s name to the Twillingate Volunteer Fire Department or the Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery Fund.
