Obituary of E. Joyce Rideout

Passed away Sunday-September 6, 2020, E. Joyce Rideout, at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by: mother Edith Gleason; husband Eric; sister Myrtle Parsons; special aunt and uncle Lucy (Arthur) Smith. Joyce leaves with loving and precious memories: daughters: Maxine (Ed) May, Dianne Rideout, and Cavell (Clyde) Adams; grandchildren: Kim (Clayton) Avery, Jerry (Jen) May, Julia (Lorne) Hawkins and Erin; great grandchildren: Cody, Eric, Keean, Victoria, Rylee, and Erin; great-great grandchild Gunner; brother-in-law Jim Parsons; special cousins Ruby (Jim) Randell and Gerald (Rose) Smith, who were Joyce’s extended siblings; close friends: Chris Foote, David Pardy and Carol Foote; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service followed with burial at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Ragged Point. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Joyce’s memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Twillingate or Fairbanks.
