Obituary of Ethel E. Roberts

Ethel Eva Roberts (Knell) passed away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, on Monday October 12, 2020 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: husband Clarence; parents Hannah (Hull) and Thomas Knell; brother Wilfred Knell; sister Mary Roberts; and special niece Cora Dove. She was the loving mother to sons: Chesley (Ruth) and Wilfred (Christine); daughters: Hannah, Barbara (Job), Elizabeth (Paul), Janette (Bruce), Lora (Guy) and Carolyn (Paul); grandchildren: Tom, Kelly, Pamela, Shelley, Curtis, Zachary, Jeremy, Jared, Joshua, Suzen, Matthew, Jenny, Jason, Janique, Ghislain, Sarah and Rebekah; great-grandchildren: Calin, Isaac, Matt, Kate, Lily, Nick, Alexis, Hailey-Jane, Jaxon, Hope, Carrie, Madison, Caleb and Callie; special nieces Ruth Stuckless, Marie Jesso and Brenda Lambert; Nephews Lloyd and Jim Roberts; as well as a circle of other nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Susanne Baggs for being Mom’s caregiver and loving companion over the last six years. Mom’s life was enriched because of your care and dedication. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service with burial at the United Church Cemetery, North Side.
