Obituary of Ada M. Parsons
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a beautiful lady, Ada May Parsons, at her home on September 25, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband, Howard James Parsons (2016), son-in-law Paul Stuckless (2010), her parents Archibald and Patience Hurley; brothers Claude, Bramwell, Heber, Herbert and Jacob; sisters Winnie, Maude, Pearl and Louise; and in-laws Fred and Grace Parsons. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Diane Stuckless, cherished granddaughter Amanda Parsons; dearest grandson Grant Stuckless (Jennifer); treasured great-grandson Ethan Fennell; brothers Sidney, Pleamon, and Wilson (Linda); sister-in-law Alma White; many special nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends. Ada had a huge heart filled with love and generosity. She took great pride in her home and garden. Being outside, in the woods, or on a beach having a cook up were things she enjoyed. Spending time with her family and sharing a meal was her pleasure. Cremation has taken place as per her request.
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service with burial at the United Cemetery, Durrell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ada’s memory may be made to the Gathering Place.
