Obituary of Stella M. Woods

Stella M. Woods of Cobb’s Arm passed away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, on Friday October 30, 2020 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by parents: Adam and Susie Woods; brother Bert Woods; sisters: Olive Mills and Dorothy Cooper. Stella leaves with treasure of loving memories: daughter Madeline (Larry Pelley); grandson Travis (Tiffany) Pelley; brothers-in-law: Ralph Mills and Roland Cooper and his wife Frona; a circle of nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends; as well as Stella’s home support girls, Verna and staff and the Sunset Manor, doctors and nursing staff at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service with burial at the United Church Cemetery, Cobb’s Arm. Donations in Stella’s honor may be given to the United Cemetery Fund, Cobb’s Arm.
