Obituary of Mary J. Pelley

Passed away on November 28, 2020 Mary J. Pelley of Twillingate, at the aged 93 years. She was predeceased by: husband Harry; parents Maude and Harry Stockley; siblings Evelyn (Norman) Elliott, Elmo (Hazel) Stockley, Lawrence (Doris) Stockley and Hedley Stockley. Mary leaves with many fond and loving memories: children: Cavell (Bill) Dove, Norma (Rex) Cornick and Doreen Pelley; grandchildren: Roxanne (Corey), Sherry (Mike), Julie, Gregory (Sarah) and Alyson (Lorne); great grandchildren: Scott (Alex), Amber (Mike), T.J. (Joelle), Abigail, Emily, Kenya, Nicholas and Caleb; great-great grandchildren: E.J, Paris and Briella; sister-in-Law: Marion Stockley; great grand-fur-baby Chase; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary’s family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit for their care and compassion given to their mom over the past three years. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service with burial at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Ragged Point. Donations may be made in Mary’s memory to the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre Long Term Care Unit or the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
