I truly am saddened by the passing of your dad. I never knew him that long but the time we spent together was the best fun I had . He was just a wonderful spirit to be around and he had a heart of gold. He made myself and Craig feel so welcome when we went to Twillingate. We enjoyed our campfires and our fishing excursions so much. He spoke your name often and I heard all kinds of funny and wonderful stories of your family. You were the apple of his eyeð I will miss him dearly and hold beautiful memories in my heart, may this beautiful man be free of pain and Rest In Peace .

I am sorry to hear of Edwards passing. I met him in September 2019 when I came to Twillingate with my sister to spread my fathers ashes (Doug Gillard). Edward was such a joyful person. And he helped make that time memorable and meaningful for us. My deepest sympathy to all of his family and friends on this loss. I have very happy memories of our time together.

We enjoyed our many visits with Edward when we visited Nfld. .Many times Edward would stop over at our house in Ontario on his way from out West waiting for his flight to get home to see you. He would never go to sleep, he was always scared he would miss his flight in the morning. He would tell us just make plenty of coffee. May God comfort you at this very sad time, out thoughts are with you.
