Obituary of Frances Elliott

It is with great sadness that we the family of the Late Frances Ruth Elliott (nee Dove) announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on April 7, 2021. At the age of 82 years. Frances was predeceased by: Parents, Robert and Ruby Dove, and husband, Jonas Elliott. Frances will forever remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: daughter Elaine (Doug) Burkholder, Son Kevin (Judy) Elliott, daughter-in-law Shirley Elliott, Grandchildren Tonya (Doug), Krystal (Justin), Ashley (Declan), Erica (Ash), Alicia (Kyle), Great-Grandchildren Aden, Gracie, Grady, Ryder, Gabe, Johnny, Cillian. Frances also leaves behind her Brothers Roy (Edna) Dove, Mark (Margaret) Dove, and sisters Eileen (Wolf) Liebscher, Brenda Walsh, her caregivers Ruth Andrews and Holly Hynes as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Frances was retired from the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Hospital. She spent 30 + years as a hardworking, kind and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse who was loved by her co-workers and her patients. She was a kind soul who spent her years sharing her love and kindness not only at work but to her family especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. A special thank you to the staff of Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre and Central Health for their kindness and compassion over the past few years. In light of the current Covid-19 restrictions, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, keeping with Frances’ wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
