I was so sad to hear that Marjorie (Marge) had passed away. Being raised, and growing up, in Kettle Cove comes with some of my best memories. At the very top of that list are the great memories of all the time I, and the majority of us who grew up in Kettle Cove, spent at Marges and Milligans. Daily, we would spend hours upon hours in the house playing with Pammie, with music on top notch, dancing and singing, playing cards, charades and other shenanigans. It didnt matter how many trips a day, it didnt matter how many pairs of boots were, and how much water was, in the porch; it didnt matter how many of us there were or how many of our school friends we brought with us; it didnt matter how loud the music was; it didnt matter that Milligan had been out in boat since 4:00 am or earlier; it didnt matter that it was supper time and we were in the middle of a game of 120s what mattered was our love for, and inclusion of, our precious Pammie. Thank you Marjorie and all the Hopkins family for being such a huge part of my childhood and all the wonderful memories that I will continue to cherish; I truly do treasure them with all my heart.
