Obituary of Maisie V. Elliott

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maisie Violet Elliott on Saturday August 14, 2021 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre; at the age of 80 years. Maisie was born in Twillingate on August 1, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Solomon and Carrie Mitchell. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband Hubert; son Dean; and her siblings: Sadie Hickman, James Mitchell, Shirley Garland, Annie Johns, Doyle Mitchell and Greta Baker. Leaving to cherish her memory are her sons: Colin Elliott (Lisa), Randy Elliott (Marilyn) and Tony Elliott; grandchildren: Crista, Fallon (Rodney), Amber, Ryan (Emily), Kyle, Brandon (Melissa) and Sabrina (Dion); great- grandchildren: Jade, Nicholas, Abel and Marley; sisters: Pansy Bulgin and Velma Mitchell; as well as a circle of extended relatives and friends. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a public visitation from the Isles Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm. A funeral service by invitation only, will take place from the funeral home on Wednesday Aug 18, 2021 at 2pm; with Rev. George Stockley officiating.
