Obituary of Susie Dove

Edna Susannah Dove of Twillingate, Newfoundland, more affectionately known as "Susie" peacefully passed away at her residence on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the age of 97 years. Susie was predeceased by: parents Mark and Carrie Bourden; husband Lionel; daughter Daphne Young; grandsons: Dennis Young and infant baby Lionel Greenham; siblings: Walter Bourden, Ivy (Stanley) Gleason, Ruby (Robert) Dove, Olive (Ralph) Dove and Nettiebelle (Frederick) Greenham. Susie leaves with fond and loving memories: daughter: Betty (Roy) Greenham; grandchildren: Dean (Cathy), Karen (Jim), Kim (Jamie) and Derrick (Verna); great-grandchildren: Jason, Jeffrey (Nicole), Shelby (Craig), Samantha (Morgan and Kenneth; great-great grandchildren: Ashton, Jaden, Jarred, Jessa, Isaac and Sadie; sister Hazel Patrick; sister-in-law Phobe Bourden and son-in-law Reginald Young. Susie also leaves a circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time a funeral service by invitation only, will take place from the Central United Church, Twillingate on Monday September 13, 2021 at 11am; with rev. George Stockley officiating.
