Sending love and heartfelt wishes to the family during this sad and difficult time. We wish we could be there to celebrate Besss fascinating and long life but the miles separate us. She was an important part if our extended family and were so glad we got to spend time with her this summer at Chloes birthday party where her and mom shared a beautiful moment. She was a fighter to the end as she was her whole life
.RIP Bess

To the Family:What a wonderful person to have known and appreciated! She was a gem and a sparkling one at that!Intelligent, lively, full of humour, caring and compassionate! When she came to Lewisporte she was an immediate hit in Pleasantview Manor and the life of every party as she danced, sang, and gave a speech immediately on being asked! We often picked her up when she went on her long walks, and over a cup of tea at our house, the conversation was always lively, informative, and full of reminiscing! It was always a joy to be in her presence and as you celebrate and mourn her passing we offer our condolences and prayers!God Bless!

Saddened to hear that Bess has finally given up the battle ! She has been a colourful figure in our lives since 1967 - when we arrived in Twillingate and both of us worked at the hospital. She remained a friend throughout our moves, and joined us on many an occasion. To Ken, Pat and Jim : you had an energetic mother - and one who gathered joy in her grandchildren. RIP, Bess - you deserve it.

I was floored when John me thta AUnt BEss ahd passed. So funny, just few nights ago I was looking at photos of Mum, Dad, Joe and Goldie White, and Aunt Bess and Uncle Walter at a hospital Christmas dinner and dance. Aunt Bess was such a good friend to my parents, and such a tower of strength and support to Mum up to her last days.. There will always be a special place in my heart for Aunt Bess; my thoughts are with you all.
