Obituary of Herbert Pardy

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on Wednesday February 23, 2022, Herbert Pardy of Cobb’s Arm at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: wife Olive (2014); parents Phillip and Ruth (nee Loder); brother Doyle; sisters: Blanche (Clarence), Myrtle (Aubrey), Hazel and Allison. Herbert leaves with many treasured and loving memories: six children: Don (Adeline), Phyllis (Raymond), Clyde (Debbie), Angus (Sheila), Randy (Kim) and Carl; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Jack (Florence) and Lorne (Verlie); sisters Mildred (Ross) and Irene (Cyril); brother-in-law Charles; sister-in-law Violet; home support workers Shirley Blake and Louise Mesher; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. A visitation by invitation only will take place from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 7-9pm. Funeral service by invitation only will be held at the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11am with burial to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Cobb’s Arm Road. At this time, due to government regulations proof of vaccination will be required for both.
