Obituary of Marion G. Stockley

Passed peacefully away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, Marion Gladys Stockley, age 95 years. She was predeceased by her parents: Frank and Minnie Randell; husband Hedley Stockley; sons-in-law Wayne Hynes and Frank Wheeler; brothers: Wilson, Harold (Louise), Ernest and Hoover (Kate); sisters: Winnie (Chesley) Dove and Doris (Arthur) Mehaney; brother-in-law Cyril Roberts. Marion leaves with fond and loving memories: daughters: Evelyn, Loretta and Thelma (Herman); grandchildren: Jim (Katherine), Beverley (Aaron), Michelle (Shawn), Jennifer (Terry), Arlene (Perry), Christina, and Michael (Catherine); great-grandchildren: Ean, Sarah, Adam, Christopher, Skye, Damian, Sarah, Daniel, Aiden, Tyson, Claire and Orina; great-great–grandchildren: Jace, Fayth and Dante; sisters Blanche Roberts and Juanita (Baxter) Canning; sister-in-law Joyce Randell; as well as circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. A public visitation will take place from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 2-4pm. Funeral service by invitation only will be held from the Central United Church on Tuesday, March 8 at 2pm with burial at the United Church Cemetery, North Side. At this time, due to government regulations proof of vaccination will be required for both the funeral home and church. Donations may be made in Marion’s memory to the United Church Cemetery Fund, North Side.
