It saddens us to hear of Grants passing . We watched the derby and couldn't believe that it was Grant . We have kept in touch with him all the way through his recovery . He was so strong and always smiled when we met . He touched so many with his strengh and will to live . His daughter was his pride and joy . He spoke of her accomplishments in conversations we had with him .Know others share your grief and are thinking of all of you as you lay your love one to rest . Taken way to soon . Gone but never forgotten .RIP our buddy

Joanne, Sabrina and families. We were heartbroken to hear of Grant's passing. Grant will be missed by all who knew him especially all his Atlantic Burn Camp family. Grant was a real jokester at camp and always made us smile. Grant would help wherever and whenever needed. He had a big heart and was looking so forward to attending camp again this year after having to cancel it two years in a row due to Covid. It will be hard not seeing him this year. We have a song we would sing every night "We all Shine like Stars". This year Grant will be one of those Stars shining down on all of us. Rest easy my friend.

Grant was a light for alot of people, and will continue to be a light for people, his strength, courage, and loving heart will stay with all of us, our memories will keep him alive, and remind us to stay strong and brave and fight hard to be the best we can be. To: Audrey & Family Our hearts are so saddened today when we heard the unexpected news about Grant. Oh we have such sweet memories of him during our stay in Bayview. He was always the first one to arrive at our house for morning Bible study before school, as well as very active in youth group and church. We loved him as we did all our youth. Our last encounter with Grant was during a conversation we had with him in Gander before Christmas, we even shared a prayer together . It was always a pleasure to meet him and he always gave us hugs. We will cherish these memories as were sure you all will cherish yours. Grant was a friend to many people. He had a beautiful personality. We didnt meet his daughter but he spoke very highly of her. That too spoke a lot to us. Please be assured that you are all much in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time in your lives. We can only point you to the Greatest Comforter of all and that is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He promises us in Psalm 147:3 He will heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds. May these words be comforting to you today. He also promises He will never leave you. My heart is breaking not just for myself but for all of Grant's family. It's one of thoes things where there are no words of comfort I can think of. This world will not be the same without Grant. There were so many things he still have left to do. I know the most important thing he did get to do was watch Sabrina grow up. I take comfort in knowing I got the chance to know Grant pretty well over the past 35 years. I know how he touched my life and think of the great times we had. The foolish side he had just like his father. Now he is with his father being foolish together. Hold on to all of the memories because it's all we have left right now and try to take comfort in knowing we will meet Grant and all of our pass loves ones again someday. Love you all.
