Passed peacefully away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, Ernie George Andrews, age 76 years. Ernie was predeceased by his parents: John and Hilda Andrews; infant daughter Tammy; son John; grandsons Nicholas Young and Joshua Andrews; son-in-law Dean Young; siblings: Douglas (Olive), Warrick (Mildred), Chesley (Pansy), Eric and Violet; and brother-in-law Fred Vokey.

Ernie leaves with precious memories: his wife Effie of almost 55 years; daughters Arleen (Bob) and Shirley; grandchildren Geena (Jonathan), Jason (Tianna), Tyler (Lauren), Emily and Jane; great-grandchildren Hailey-Jane, Nixon, Jaxon, William, Sadie, Bentley and Charlotte; sister Mildred Vokey; brother in law Calvin Hiscock; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Saturday, June 25 at 1 pm followed by burial at the North Side United Church Cemetery, Twillingate.
