Obituary of Ernie Andrews

Passed peacefully away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, Ernie George Andrews, age 76 years. Ernie was predeceased by his parents: John and Hilda Andrews; infant daughter Tammy; son John; grandsons Nicholas Young and Joshua Andrews; son-in-law Dean Young; siblings: Douglas (Olive), Warrick (Mildred), Chesley (Pansy), Eric and Violet; and brother-in-law Fred Vokey. Ernie leaves with precious memories: his wife Effie of almost 55 years; daughters Arleen (Bob) and Shirley; grandchildren Geena (Jonathan), Jason (Tianna), Tyler (Lauren), Emily and Jane; great-grandchildren Hailey-Jane, Nixon, Jaxon, William, Sadie, Bentley and Charlotte; sister Mildred Vokey; brother in law Calvin Hiscock; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A funeral service will be held from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Saturday, June 25 at 1 pm followed by burial at the North Side United Church Cemetery, Twillingate.
