Obituary of Cindy Iona Florence Saunders

Cindy Iona Florence Saunders (Brown) August 28, 1962 - September 12, 2022 It is with great sadness the family announces Cindy’s passing on Monday September 12th 2022, at Pleasantview Towers in St John’s with her Husband Steve and favourite Nurse Kim by her side at the age of 60 years. Beloved wife for 26 years to Steve Saunders, Sister of Valerie Compton (Herbert), Niece Jasmine Compton and so many of her Family and Friends. Cindy was predeceased by her parents Aubrey and Myrtle Brown (Pardy). This world will not be the same without Cindy in it, her smile and laughter would brighten any room she entered. She made so many friends that will cherish her forever. A very special thank you to her cousin Phyllis Burt who made the last 4.5 years of her life special. To all the staff at 2 Southwest of Pleasantview Towers, you’re an amazing group of people everyone, but especially the ones that made Cindy their family. Live life to the fullest and cherish every day like it’s your last, Cindy always did that! There will be a short visitation in St. John’s at Cauls Funeral home on Lemarchant road for her on Wednesday September 14 from Noon to 9 pm. After that Cindy will be returning to her Home in Twillingate where visitation will take place at Isles Funeral Home at 2 Whitehorne's Hill Thursday September 15 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Friday Sept 16 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Service will be held at The United Church Twillingate Saturday September 17 at 11 am. Cindy Loved flowers or a donation to the St John’s SPCA in her honour.
