Obituary of Laura Mary Clarke
Passed peacefully away at 5:25 am on November 4, 2022 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Laura Mary Clarke; aged 86 years.
Laura was predeceased by: Kenneth Crews (father), Charolette (Dunne) Crews (Mother), Eric Clarke (husband), Violet (Bill) Hillier (sister), Florence (Sylvester) Stacey (sister), Joan Crews (sister-in-law), Alfred Crews (brother), Edna (George) Cake (sister), Edward Bullerwell (brother-in-law), and Norman Pritchett (brother-in-law).
Left with fond and loving memories: daughter Marilyn (Wayne) Bulgin; son Bob; grandchildren: Patrick (Sonya), Chris (Tricia), Pamela (Tyler) and Meagan (Tom); great-grandchildren: Danielle (Seve), Dylan, Hailey, Ryder, Claire, Jonas, Hayden and Silas; siblings: Pearl (Don) Burton, Hubert Crews, Audrey Bullerwell and Roberta Pritchett; sister-in-law Ruth Crews; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
Laura was a lady of many talents; she loved baking and was famous for her lemon meringue pie and chocolate cake. She enjoyed knitting and sewing in her pass time. Laura was a social butterfly attending many groups and organization which helped her to stay connected to people, church and her community. She made sure everyone had what they needed be it family, friends or strangers she met along the way. Everyone was special in her eyes.
The family of Laura would like to thank all who came to visit her at the North Haven manor during her palliative care stay, including phone calls and messages.
