Melvin Roland Rideout, age 76 years, passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s, on Monday, July 17, 2023.

Predeceased by his parents William and Eunice Rideout, brothers George (Marie), Selby (Anniebelle), Wilfred, Hayward, sisters-in-law Mona, Francis Ann, and father-in-law George Weir.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 54 years, Bernice, brothers Leslie, Sidney; sister Geraldine (Don) Bellows, sisters-in-law Gladys (Marvin), Marjorie, Cathy (Dave) Hutchings; and mother-in-law Nina Weir, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Donations in Melvin’s memory can be given to the Twillingate Lions Club Playground.
