Obituary of Captain Wayne Edward Maxwell Young

Captain Wayne E. M. Young, age 72 years, passed peacefully away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, on Monday, July 24, 2023. He is predeceased by his parents Maxwell and Daisy Young; and parents-in-law Eric and Lucy Simmons. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Barbara; Ben the family dog; brother-in-law Ernest (Doreen Mitchell) Simmons; niece Jayne (Sheldon Huelin) Simmons and her mother Trudy (Curtis) Stokes; grandnephews: Elijah, Erik and Averie; Uncle Frederick (Netta) Pond; home support worker Donnie Cooper who have cared for Wayne over the past four years; as well as a circle of other relatives, and friends. Donations in Wayne’s memory can be given to the Calvary Pentecostal Church Cemetery Fund, Twillingate.
