Martin John Rideout, passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, September 17th at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate surrounded by his loving family.

He is predeceased by his parents, Martin and Lucy Rideout, son Howard, his sisters Grace, Hazel and Mabel, his brothers-in-law Lloyd, Fred, Alec, and Herman, and his sister-in-law Betty.

Martin leaves to mourn with loving memories, his wife, Neta of almost 70 years, his children, Hubert (Marilyn), Linda (Jim) and Kevin (Kerrilyn); his grandchildren, Howard (Nancy), Holly, Jason (Samantha) , Caleb and Jonathan (Kristen), Jesse (Ivory Ann) and their mother Lauralee; his great grandchildren Riley, Payton, Hudson, and Blake; brothers/sisters-in-law of the Waterman family and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A special thank you to his Home Care Support Workers and to the staff at the Long Term Care Unit of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre for their loving and compassionate care over the last 2 years.

Donations in Martin’s memory may be given to the St. Peter’s Anglican Church Fund.
