Daisy Rose Gillard

April 4, 1945 ~ November 28, 2023

Daisy Rose Gillard formerly of Twillingate, Newfoundland, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023, at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank at the age of 78 years.

Daisy was born on April 4th, 1945 to parents Arthur and Melita Gillard of Gillard’s Cove, Twillngate.

Pre-deceased by her parents; sisters: Doris Elliott and Pansy Gillard; brother Clayton Jenkins; sister-in-law Mary Jo Gillard; and nephew Perry Gillard.

Left with fond memories are: brother Elmo Gillard of Little Bay; nephews: Arthur Gillard, Elmo Gillard Jr. and Cory Gillard, Harvey Elliott, Lorne Elliott and Garry Elliott; Nieces: Gloria Gillard, Diane Elliott and Linda Rogers.

The family would like to thank the staff at the at the Foxtrap Manor, Foxtrap where Daisy resided for many years; as well as the Blue Crest Nursing home, Grand Bank where she resided in her later years.

Donations in Daisy’s memory may be given to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Newfoundland.
