Passed peacefully away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on Saturday, December 2, 2023; Shirley Millicent Gladys Anstey at the age of 80.

Shirley is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Minnie Flynn; brother Reginald Flynn; sister Delphine Anstey; and brother-in-law Harvey Pearce.

Shirley leaves with beautiful memories, her husband of almost 60 years, Neville; children Nancy (Tony) Rogers and Cynthia (Peter) Wiseman; grandchildren: Amanda (Jonathan), Wesley, Carl and Lauren (Noah); brother Junior (Louise) Flynn; sisters Ada (Clayton) Dalley and Helen Pearce; and sister-in-law Frances Flynn; as well as and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Special thank you to home support workers: Angela Anstey, Fran Newman and Vanessa Rideout; and the Doctors and Nursing Staff of The Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre who all provided Shirley and her family with loving care and support.
