Michael Cyril Bridger Obituary

With broken and heavy hearts, the family of Michael Cyril Bridger sadly announces his peaceful passing at the Miller Center in St. John's.

Michael loved hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved fishing, going camping, and spending time with his loved ones.

Left to mourn, but with beautiful memories are his children Candace (Damien) and Nathan Bridger, Granddaughter Alexa, his adoring Mother Doris Bridger, beloved siblings Angela Thomas and Rex Barnes (Martha), Uncle Gordon (Ruth), Uncle Amos (Pat), Aunt Phyllis (Junior), Aunt Joyce (Bert) and many cousins and friends. Very special friend Mary Lynn who hardly ever left his side and is a true earth angel and the family will be forever grateful to her.

And his friend Dolly who took him in spirit on her travels around the world.

He is predeceased by his father Leonard Bridger, Grandparents Dorothy and William Bridger & Alberta and Cyril Barnes, Uncle Donald Barnes, and family dog Mocha.

A huge special thanks to the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their incredible care and loving nature.

A Meet & Greet will take place after the interment at the Twillingate Lions Den, everyone is welcome to drop by to visit with Michael's family.

As the lyrics of one of his favorite songs fittingly said:

Thanks for the joy that you've given me

I want you to know I believe in your song

Rhythm and rhyme and harmony

Has helped me along

And making me strong

Give me the beat boys

And free my soul

I want to get lost in the rock and roll

And drift away.

Forever missed, and never forgotten.
