My deepest condolences to the family of Grace. I was shocked to hear of her unexpected passing. She is a lst cousin of mine and i only had contact with her on face book. I had a card from her at Christmas past. I always looked her up when in Twillingate but couldn't find her on my last visit there about 3 summers ago. I appreciate her love of animals and I will acknowledge her passing with a donation to the new SPCA building which I support. RIP Grace. Joan Butler.

Heather and Gregory and families. I can’t be there today but my heart is with you as you lay your precious Mom to rest. She was a very loving, caring compassionate person. She always worried about you and other people more than she did herself. You guys were her heart and soul. Not many times when we talked did she not mention one of you. She was so proud of the beautiful children you became. And pets, no words to describe how many tears she shed when she lost a cat or when Heather’s dog or cat died. Her love for all animals was known to everyone that knew her. She always worried about me when I was on the road and when I had the accident in November I had to promise her I was okay and she cried when I talked to her. She was such a beautiful friend and my heart is hurting so much because she’s been here by me almost ever since we’ve been here. I will miss her forever. But God didn’t want her to suffer so he took her home to be with him. The angels are rejoicing around the throne. Go rest on the mountain my friend, your work on earth is done. Love your friend Joan.

Grace was a big time animal lover.For the past 3+ years she has been sponsoring a cat monthly in the Fsar Animal rescue.Grace was very kind,loving,gentle…I loved our conversations and I will definitely miss seeing her..Heather and Greg,a friend of your moms Bonnie Curtis will be be taking over your moms monthly sponsor of Rachel,the cat below.This would have made your mom so happy to know this will continue in her memory.Our deepest condolences from William,Lisa and I at the cat rescue.Your mom will be sadly missed by many.Sending love and hugs to you both.
