Harold Barnes passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center, Gander.

Harold is predeceased by his parents Walter and Amy Barnes, his wife Jean E. Barnes, brother Bert Barnes and his sister Eula M. Bridger.

He leaves with precious memories his children Stephen (Devica) Barnes, Susanne (Ken) Power, Kathy (Bruce Reid) Byrne, Rosalind (Dan) LeBlanc, Nancy (Duane) Jensen, and Kayla (Cory) Stead, his grandchildren Amber, Ashley, Matthew, Vanessa (Jake), Jeremy, Jordan, Cole, Daniel, Aiden and Cora-Jane, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A thank you to Verna and the Staff of Sunset Manor for their wonderful care. A special thank you to all the friends and family for your visits to see Harold and providing him with some joy and laughter during his final days.  Ken and Irene Bridger for being a source of comfort and a gentle, loving presence during the profound experience and process of saying goodbye to Harold.  Your kindness has not gone unnoticed.
