Obituary of Donald Leroy Hurley

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Leroy Hurley announce his passing on June 11th at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate at the age of 91. Donald is predeceased by his parents Fred and Netta Hurley; Stepfather Terrance Hurley; brother Baxter; sister Gladys (Roy) Budgell, and nephew Shawn. Donald leaves with fond and loving memories his loving wife Pansy of 58 years and their children Arleigh, Rod (Ivy), Corey (Donna), Terry, Dayna (Corey); grandchildren Mitchell, Kiara, Kaylee, Ciara, and Isla; step-grandchildren Anthony, Johnathon, and Landen; sister Shirley (Jerry) Canning; brother Barry (Audrey) Hurley, brother in laws Wilfred (Blanche) Burt, Alwin (Mona) Burt, Tom (Christine) Burt; and sisters in law Patsy, Eva and Judy as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre and to Rev. Valerie Kingsbury for their care and compassion.
