Obituary of Winnie Pearl Bath

It is with great sadness that the family of Winnie Pearl Bath announce her passing on July 9, 2024, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate, at the age of 87 years. Winnie was born on April 14, 1937, to William and Stella Pride. She was the second oldest of ten children. On June 7, 1955, Winnie married Frederick Bath and together they raised six children. Winnie worked at the Twillingate Fish Plant for 28 summers. In her pass time she loved to crochet, knit, and doing her word search puzzle books. She loved to go partridgeberry picking in the Fall. Winnie is predeceased by her parents William and Stella Pride, her son Bruce, sisters Margaret (Joseph) Greenham, Annie (Wilfred) Watkins, Betty Pride and baby Joan; brothers Carl (Francis) Pride, and Harry (Audrey) Pride; granddaughters Lisa and Kayla Burton and fur baby Tobbi. Left with fond and loving memories of 69 years, her loving husband Fred, children; Cyril (Debbie) Bath, Loretta (Dave) Burton, Tom (Dianne) Bath, Diane (Wayne) White, Suzanne Jeffrey, and her daughter in law Lisa Bath. As well as 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, brother Walter Barnes, sisters Marie Bath, and Pansy Hann and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family would like to thank Winnie’s homecare workers Donna Anstey, Paula Best, and Juanita Soper, the Doctors and Nurses at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre for her extended stay as well as Isles Funeral Home for their professional care and service. Donations may be given in Winnie's memory to the The Salvation Army Twillingate Bayview Corp. Cemetery Fund.
