I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing, we have been friends more than 60 years, we met in Battle Harbour when Jim was with the RCMP there. Dear Joey, Jill and your family. I met your mom and dad when I went to work in the office at Burin Detachment. You were only little children then. Since then your mom and I corresponded every Christmas exchanging Christmas cards and a catch up note. I last heard from her the Christmas after Rev Brett died. She was such a wonderful person and never changed over the years. She loved you all so much. I know you will miss her terribly. May your precious memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
