It is with great sadness that the family of Nina Lillian Hynes-Lovelace announce her passing on August 5, 2024, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate, at the age of 87.

Nina is predeceased by her parents: Oliver and Minnie Burt, her grandparents Katie and Stewart Rideout; first husband Doyle Hynes, and her daughter Josephine Brenton.

Nina leaves with fond and loving memories her second husband of 9 years, Warrick Lovelace, her children: Oliver (Cassie) Hynes, Jimmy (Maisie) Hynes, her son in law Calvin Brenton, Joan (Eric) Pelley and the Lovelace extended family. Her grandchildren Wanda (Jody), Sueann (Mike), Jonathan (Terri-lynn), Robin (Courtney), Mark, Cory (Pamela) and Nathan (Jennifer); great grandchildren Dawson, Loghan, Jenelle, Siehera, Gavin, Faith, James, Levi, Codey, Abigail, Jesse, Jacob, and Elaina; great-great grandchildren Jackson and Joey, her much loved siblings as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Donations in Nina’s memory may be given to The Twillingate Bayview Salvation Army Corps. Building Fund.
