Obituary of Lindy Ruben Elliott
With heavy hearts, the family of the late Lindy Ruben Elliott, announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate on October 9, 2024 at the age of 95.
Predeceased by wife of 70 years, Daisy, daughters, Linda Marion and baby girl Elliott, parents Claude and Pearl (Roberts) Elliott, brothers Maxwell (Shirley) Elliott, Hiriam Elliott, sisters Annie (Martin) Legge, and Dolly (Victor) Pippy. Parents-in-law James and Rosa (Dean) Pardy, brothers-in-law Lloyd Hull, Cecil (Pearl) Pardy, sisters-in-law Dulcie Mae and Mary Blanche Pardy, nephews David Elliott and Earl Pardy.
Lindy leaves with many loving memories, his children Garry (Olive), Rosalind (Sterling) McNamara, Maisie Barnes, George, and Michelle (Patrick) Murphy. Grandchildren Jerry (Sue), Keith (Brandie), Mike (Tera), Sandi (Tom), Shane (Makayla), Stephanie, Amy (Mike), Andy (Melanie), Alexandra, Brandon (Jasmine), Ryder and Cruz. 20 great grandchildren, brother Doyle (Joan), sister Maxine Hull, brother-in-law Garfield (Laurel) Pardy, sisters-in-law Adelaide Elliott and the Very Rev. Dr. Marion Pardy, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.
A very special thank you to the staff at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre and the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre For the exceptional care they provided.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to his other family, the management and staff of Oram’s Bethesda Manor Gander, where he has resided for the past 4 years. Their loving care and support will never be forgotten.
