To the Pond Family:
So sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. He was a very special person. Every time I saw him, he had a big smile and always asked about my family. He would shake my hand and squeeze my other shoulder at the same time. I always left him feeling better about the day ahead, no matter what was to come. Rest In Peace Fred. Put in a good word for me on the other side. You will be missed.

To Netta and all the Pond families
We were so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. But we hope you will be encouraged to think of his lifetime service to the Lord and to the Twillingate Assembly. He was a great example of a servant doing all he could for God's work. There are many rewards awaiting him in heaven. His smile and dedication will be missed.
Remembering all of you in prayer

To the family of Fred Pond,
It is with a deep sense of reverence that I reflect on the life of Fred Pond this week. Fred was truly a pillar of faith, a man who lived and breathed Jesus in every facet of his being. His unwavering pursuit of Christ, fueled by a heart solely devoted to pleasing Him, has left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.
Fred's singular desire was to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." We can all find solace in knowing that his transition is not a loss but a fulfillment of that earnest pursuit. Though there is now a profound gap here on earth—one that will be felt and mourned deeply—Fred has moved into the eternal reward he so faithfully lived for.
He has left us with a legacy, a road map that points directly to Jesus, the source of true joy. If nurtured, this legacy will continue to impact not just our generation but generations to come. Fred’s life serves as a guide for how we, too, can be reunited with him in eternity, by following the instructions he modeled with such grace and fervor.
As you gather to celebrate Fred’s extraordinary life, I pray that God’s comfort and peace will sustain you. Cherish the beautiful memories of Fred and the joy he brought into your lives. May the God of all comfort surround you with His love, and may His joy—the joy that Fred desired so deeply for everyone to experience—fill your hearts today, tomorrow, and in the days ahead.
Fred’s life was a testimony to the goodness and faithfulness of God, and though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of faith will remain a guiding light for us all.
With heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences,
Sarah Bulgin (Rice)
