Mrs. Rideout, Maxine, Dianne and Cavell, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Rideout's passing. He was one of the kindest, gentlest, sweetest people I have ever met. He was always so kind to me when I visited with Dianne in years past. He was the most giving and sharing person and I know that you have lots of wonderful memories to help you through the difficult days ahead. When you are feeling sad remember he is in a better place with no more pain and suffering. You will all meet again and he will be watching over you all while he waits. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept - things we don't want to know but have to learn and people we can't live without but have to let go. We can shed tears that he is gone or we can smile because he lived; we can close our eyes and pray that he'll come back or we can open our eyes and see all that he has left; Our hearts can be empty because we can't see him, or our hearts can be full of the love and friendship we shared; We can remember him and only that he is gone or we can cherish his memory and let it live on.
