A piece of my heart is missing with the passing of the best pop a grandson could ever ask for. Pop was a very loving man and had a great way of loving me even from afar. His voice over the phone could bring back childhood memories with him that I will never forget and hold dear in my heart. He has made me a better man with his guidance and love and I'm sure he touched everyone he knew in a positive way. I love you Pop, I always have and always will. Your grandson Jerry

To Aunt Joyce, Maxine, Dianne and Cavell. It is with a sad heart today that I find myself writing this condolence to you. Uncle Eric was a very special man and we loved him to bits. I know he is with Jesus and my mom today and he is in no more pain. I will sorely miss visiting him in the summer time when we are home. We will keep you and the family in our prayers, because the next while is going to be difficult. I still have times where I pick up the phone to call mom and I'm sure that you who are away will experience the same thing. Please know that we love you all and would really wish we could be there right now. Love you all.

Mrs. Rideout, Maxine, Dianne and Cavell, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Rideout's passing. He was one of the kindest, gentlest, sweetest people I have ever met. He was always so kind to me when I visited with Dianne in years past. He was the most giving and sharing person and I know that you have lots of wonderful memories to help you through the difficult days ahead. When you are feeling sad remember he is in a better place with no more pain and suffering. You will all meet again and he will be watching over you all while he waits. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept - things we don't want to know but have to learn and people we can't live without but have to let go. We can shed tears that he is gone or we can smile because he lived; we can close our eyes and pray that he'll come back or we can open our eyes and see all that he has left; Our hearts can be empty because we can't see him, or our hearts can be full of the love and friendship we shared; We can remember him and only that he is gone or we can cherish his memory and let it live on. He will be loved and remembered always. Beulah
