Obituary of Eric Rideout

Passed away Monday, November 9th, Eric Rideout, at the age of 84 years. He was predeceased by: parents Kate & Stanley; brother Wallace; and sister Joyce Dove. He leaves to mourn with loving and precious memories: wife Joyce; daughters: Maxine (Ed) May, Dianne Rideout, and Cavell (Clyde) Adams; grandchildren: Kim (Clayton) Avery, Jerry (Jen) May, and Julia (Lorne) Hawkins; great grandchildren: Cody, Eric, Keean, Victoria, Rylee, and Erin; sisters: Alvie (Walter) Barnes, Eliza (Doyle) Barnes, Hettie (Harry) Dalley, and Yvonne (Mark) Jenkins; brothers: Doug (Bernetta) and Cyril (Joyce); sister-in-law Hilda Rideout-Mehaney; brother-in-law Raymond Dove; and close friend David Pardy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Visitation will be held on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:00 PM, from the Salvation Army Church, Twillingate, Majors Lyndon & Lisa Hale officiating. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army cemetery, Ragged Point. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Eric’s memory to the Parkinson’s Society.
