Aunt Joan and Family, I have been very shocked to hear of Uncle Lester's passing, I am so sorry I couldn't be there in person with you today, but I am there in spirit, I have so many fond memories of Uncle Lester, I will never forget the time I had been at Dad's and Mom's when dad had been on the phone with Uncle Lester and dad needed a pair of reading glasses, Uncle Lester was going to be making one of his many trips the following day to St. John's and he had told dad that he would pick him up his glasses, so here I sat listening to dad with a book out as he and Uncle Lester tested dad's eyes over the phone. Dad would tell Uncle Lester what sizes print he could read in the book and what he couldn't read. And they figured the strength of his glasses from that. Just take comfort in knowing that we can lose a person but no one can ever take the memories. I love you all.
