Obituary of Lester Sharpe

Passed away on April 16, 2016 Lester James Sharpe of Twillingate, NL, aged 78. Lester is pre-deceased by his parents Harvey and Dorothy (Locke) Sharpe; children: Thomas and Barry; brother Melvin; sister Wanetta Conway. Lester leaves with loving and fond memories: wife Joan of 58 years; son Bruce, step-son Alex (Geraldine) Anstey; daughters: Belinda (Frank) Compton, Rowena, Jennifer (with her partner Robert); Grandchildren: Gregory, Jamie, Shayna, Stephen, Allison, Barry Jr., Justin (with his partner Sonia), Amanda, Nathan (Samantha), Jessica, Colby, Kylan and Kaleb; great grandchild Jacob; Sister Muriel (Pleman) Wheaton; Sister in Law: Mary Sharpe; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 19 at 2pm from St. Peters Anglican Church, Twillingate, Rev. Joanne Mercer Officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the family and a charity will be decided at a later date.
