Obituary of Lillian J Gates

Passed peacefully away on May 24, 2016 Lillian J. Gates, aged 90 of Summerford, NL. She was predeceased by: parents Esariah and Elizabeth; husband Lloyd; son Winston; infant daughter; granddaughter Stephanie; 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She leaves with fond and loving memories: children: Margaret (Gerald) Wall, Judy (Alonzo) Wheeler, Gordon, Maxwell (Mary), Wade, Wanda (Calvin) March, Andy (Marilyn), Brenda and her partner (Gary Smith), Glenda (Chesley) Pelley, Lawrence (Nicole), Rocky (Myra); daughter-in-law Julie; grandchildren: Christine, Donna, Freeman, Gary, Brian, Gail, Dean, Doann, Dana, Dwayne, Darren, Dayle, Tina, Lisa, Michael, Tammy, Tracey, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Adrian, Stephen, Peter, Tyler, Zachery, Jeremy, McCaully; 33 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Bessie Burt; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2016 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from the New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 26 at 2 pm from the United Church, Summerford. Rev. Paula Gale officiating.
