Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Most of my memories of Tom include wearing a ball cap and coveralls or playing the guitar and singing. Keep these memories alive in your heart and put your trust in the Lord as you move forward.

Where do I start? Uncle Tom was truly one of the best out there. The things that he done for Me, Marsha, Mom and Dad are countless! He was always there for us. Having the privilege to grow up next door to him was amazing! He kept the 3 "White houses" going. Keeping them up and checking on them when we were gone. It won't be the same not to see him when I go home. He loved watching my kids play in the beach and would talk to me about it whenever i'd go home. My thoughts and prays go out to Aunt Audrey and family! R.I.P Uncle Tom, Love you buddy! Josh, Krystal, Jordyn, Julie and Alyssa!

Some of my best memories from growing up are spending time at Aunt Aud and Uncle Tom's. His guitar was never far away and he always had a story to tell or a song to sing. In later years, he and Bennett would swap stories of working on the boats and countries far away. We will miss you, Uncle Tom. Love to Aunt Aud, all my cousins and their families.

Aunt Audrey, Karen, Debbie, Donna, Carol Anne, Trevor, and Kim, I am so sorry that I cant be there with you all, my heart is broken. Our families have been intertwined on Whites Hill my whole life, so much so, that to this day I still get asked, your Toms daughter right? It wont be the same without him thats for sure. He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He was always doing something for someone, especially mom and Jim. Im not sure what they would have done without him but he loved doing it. We can all take comfort in our memories, telling our stories and sharing our feelings in the days and years to come. These are the things that will ease our pain and bring us peace. I love you all and wish I could be there. Love Cindy and family

My heart felt condolences to my entire family. I lived parts of my life on White's Hill, Uncle Tom was the person I saw daily, going around finding something to do. All my kids have had the opportunity to meet uncle Tom, my Avery spent time with him on her summer vacations, and loved him. I only have fond memories of him, a gentle, hardworking and giving man. RIP Uncle Tom, have a Grand Ole time with the rest of the White men!
