Obituary of Lorna M. Stuckless

Lorna Marguerite (Bradley) Stuckless passed away in her sleep on Friday, March 1, 2019 in the town of Twillingate, Newfoundland. She was born in Eastport, Newfoundland on July 29, 1932 to Kenneth and Irene (Farwell) Bradley. On November 12, 1951 she married Gordon Stuckless of Twillingate, Newfoundland husband of 63 years. Survivors include 3 daughters: Irene McGuire (Keith), Barbara Hamlyn (Jim) and Annette Parsons (William); daughter-in-law Diane Stuckless(Parsons); 11 grandchildren: Kelly, Matt, Wes, Ben, Jeff, Joe, Joanne, Amanda, Grant, Jane and Anna; 13 great-grandchildren: Margaret, Selena, Claire, Hannah, Molly, Tim, Sarah, Amelia, Clare, Oliver, Ethan, Olivia and Cindy; 2 siblings: Helene (Bradley) Osmond and William Bradley; 3 siblings-in-law: Betty Norman, Ted Stuckless and Brian Stuckless; as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased in death by her parents; son Paul, 3 brothers Ray, Ken, and Pat; and sisters: Phillis and Marjorie. Memorial service will be held from the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Twillingate on Monday March 4, 2019 at 2pm, Rev. Joanne Mercer officiating. No flowers by request, donations may be given in Lorna’s honor to: Sleeping Children Around the World, Hospital Pond Community Garden Corporation, St. Peter’s Anglican Church or a charity of one’s choice.
