We met Olive and most of your family in Florida and we had many good times by the pool and sharing your moms wonderful cooking. I bet Olive is having a cup of tea and a slice of homemade bread with your mom right now. I am working on the April newsletter for the condo association and I will put a piece in there about Olive. I am sure some of the residents who knew you would like to know. She lived a good like with good family around her. You guys did so much for Olive and I am sure she was glad you were with her at the end. There are lots of good memories to help you through the hard days ahead. When Sam came to Newfoundland to visit us, we went to Twillingate and your family welcomed us into your home like you knew us all your life. We will never forget the goodness in your family. RIP Olive.

My sympathy to Olives brother Allan , his family and her other relatives and friends.. My parents, Arthur and Violet Stanley were life long friends of Mr. and Mrs. Janes and while it seems a lifetime has passed, their presence in our home is still such happy memory.. They were so thoughtful and caring and always made one feel so special. When they married I was chosen as their flower girl and after all these years I can still feel that happiness..what a wonderful pleasure for a wee little girl... and thank you Mrs Janes .Rest peacefully, Sincerely Gloria (Stanley) Stewart

Olive was a beautiful woman. She was a light to be around. Working at Nightingale gave me a great gift to be able to look after her and keep her company when needed. I'm so sorry to hear. She will always be remembered.

We wish all the family our deepest condolences. As family members that lived away, we would see Aunt Olive and Uncle Rog most years on our return visits home. Aunt Olive always had some little gift that made me feel special. In their later year, wintering in Florida, we were lucky enough to spend more time visiting. It was one the major joys of my mothers (Babs Ivany) life to have those years together with family. Aunt Olive will be sadly missed and we were lucky to have had her with us for so many years. May the good memories bring comfort to those left behind.
