Obituary of E. Ida Lewis

Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, Elizabeth Ida Lewis, age 101. She was predeceased by: her husband William Lewis; parents Patrick and Beatrice Atkins; sister Florence; and brother Fred. Ida leaves with loving memories: children: Hayward (Flo), Wilfred (Norma), Raymond (Gerri), Wayne (Barb), Louise (Ken), Madeline (Alvin) and Geraldine (Alex); 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as well as her home support workers, extended relatives and friends. A visitation will take place from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 2-4pm. A funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel on Monday, March 28 at 2pm; with Captains Keith and Charlene Barrett officiating.
