Obituary of Edward Bulgin

Passed away Tuesday July 5th 2022, at NDBMHC, Twillingate, E. Lloyd Bulgin, age 83 years. Lloyd was born in Durrell on August, 16 1938 to Harry and Sophie Bulgin. He spent most of his life as a teacher. Even though retired, his love of teaching and helping others with learning challenges and things like assignments and projects continued until a couple weeks before his passing. He married Jean Mutford in 1961 and together they raised 3 daughters who gave them 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild who’s lives he took great pleasure in being a part of. Predeceased by his parents - Harry & Sophie Bulgin; siblings - Allan Bulgin, Bert Bulgin; parents-in-law - Bert & Olive Mutford; siblings-in-law - James White & Loretta Bulgin. Left with fond and loving memories are: his wife - Jean; children - Cathy (Wayne Anstey), Colleen (Roger Gillard) & Coralee (Tony Blake); grandchildren - Scott (Christine), Zach (Jennifer), Tyler, Caitlin (Taylor), Hayley (Andrew) & Abi; great granddaughter - Lydia; siblings - Louise White, Joyce Anstey (Lloyd), Eric Bulgin (Ada), Shirley Piercy (Freeman) & Christine Roberts (Wilfred); siblings-in-law - Pansy Bulgin, Margaret Dove (Mark), Norma Roberts (Herbert), Lloyd Mutford (Elizabeth), John Mutford (Yvonne), Ruth Waterman (Eric), George Mutford (Karen) & Linda Young (Arthur); many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and other friends. A public visitation will take place from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 7-9pm followed by cremation. A memorial service will be held from the Central United Church, Twillingate on Friday, July 8 at 2pm with burial at the United Church Cemetery, Durrell. Donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to the United Church Organ Fund or the local Food Bank.
