It’s with great sadness that we are unable to attend today.
Losing nan is like losing another piece of mom. They were so much alike. The way she talked, laughed, listened and bounced around the kitchen to serve whoever was in her home. She always made you feel special no matter how many people were around.
My greatest memories of nan was her love for shopping. Boy didn't she love to go! When she came to St. John's to visit Shara and I and the kids, it was such a joy to chauffeur her to and from the stores, knowing all to well that we would be back again tomorrow returning most of what she bought. But that's what made it so special!
Her love for life, her endless encouraging words, her love for others is and always will be an inspiration to us. We are sad to see you go nan but we take peace in the hope of seeing you again reunited in Christ with pop and mom.
