Harvey Edgar Hicks, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year on Tuesday, August 1st at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander surrounded by his loving family.

He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Ettie Hicks, his loving wife, Ada, his sisters Pansy, Gladys, Laura and his brothers Frank and Lleweyn.

Harvey leaves to mourn with loving memories his children, Ron (Raf), Wallace (Sandra), Roy (Barbara), Gloria (Ivan), Randy, Barry (Carol), Roger (Cindy) and Jo Ann; his grandchildren, Michelle, Patti, Melissa, Carlene, Krystle, Lacy, Janice, Joey, Jade, Jared, Jody, Kaleigh, and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Zach, Hope, Sadie, Reid, Larkin, Cooper, Claire, Joshua, Rosie, Maddie, Olivia, Eva, Leah and Jacob; his sister, Goldie (Bob), and his brothers Lloyd (Elizabeth) and Ivan (Marguerite). As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A sincere thank you to his Home Care workers at Notre Dame Compassionate Care, Twillingate, the Staff at Oram’s Bethesda Manor, Gander, and the staff at James Paton Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care.

Donations in Harvey’s memory may be given to the Twillingate Volunteer Fire Dept.
