Uncle Ivan, Debbie, Judy, Brenda and families.
Sending my condolences, prayers and love to all. Growing up in Kettle Cove, right across the road, I spent many hours at Aunt Marguerite and Uncle Ivan’s home with the girls. Always welcomed, always felt loved. So many great memories. Years later whenever I visited or was in their company that same great feeling was there. Thinking of you all during this sad loss but her love and memories will live on. Wishing I could be there with you all but know that I am in your hearts. Love to all.

Ivan, Brenda, Judy, Debbie and family,
I can't put into words how sad I was to hear the news of Marguerite's passing. I have so many memories of spending time at your house whether it was getting my clothes dried from falling in copying pans (which I was not allowed to do so I wouldn't go home wet); having my first (and last) taste of Buckley's cough medicine and having the BEST turkey neck soup I ever tasted. There were times I know when she wanted to can me and Bren up, especially the time we were swimming with air mattresses in the cove and the wind came up and started blowing us out of the cove, oh how we laughed about this many years later. When we visited in later years she was always so proud to talk about her grandchildren and laugh about their funny stories. I will never forget her laugh. I'm so sad for her loss but so happy to have grown up as a part of your family. I will never forget it. I love and miss you all.

Dear Debbie, Judy and Brenda,
I’m so sorry to read of the passing of your mom.
I’ve certainly a lot of good childhood memories of time spent in Kettle Cove - especially with Jude and Bren. The fun playing ‘Olympic Games’ in the garden, walks, playing with Pam, going over to the big beach.
Your mom always with a pleasant smile and was very welcoming. Please give my condolences to your father.
May she rest in peace.

Ivan, Debbie, Judy, Brenda and families,
Another heartbreaking loss to our little Kettle Cove family. How I wish I could be with you all in our beloved Kettle Cove. Through the sadness, such wonderful memories fill my heart - the countless trips across the bar to Marguerite and Ivan’s - our second home, a bonus set of parents - which sometimes meant Judy and I got told off twice (once in Kettle Cove north (Marguerite)and again in Kettle Cove south (Goldie) for tormenting Bren and Jo); lugging us from, or down harbour until Debbie got her license; her homemade “thoupe”; and, how her face would light up when we would go visit after moving away; she was always so glad to see us. Thank you for all the wonderful memories; each and every one of them bring a smile to my face. May you rest in peace.

So sad to hear that we lost our beautiful Aunt Marguerite today. We always loved any time we were in her company. Aunt Marguerite raised a fantastic family and was always so proud to share all of your accomplishments. We are all fortunate to have wonderful memories of a wonderful lady!!
Our thoughts are with all of you and we are so sorry that we will miss her funeral due to the weather here in town but please know we are sending our love to you all at this sad time.
