Obituary of Carrie May Baggs
It is with great sadness that the family of Carrie May Baggs announce her passing on September 9, 2024, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate, at the age of 76.
Carrie is predeceased by her parents: George and Clara Belle Adey; sister Louise, and brothers Wilson and John.
Carrie leaves with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 58 years, Hayward; her children: James (Tammy), Pam (John), Jeffrey (Susanne) and Matthew (Jo-Ann), her grandchildren Bradley, Shane, Kaitlin, Noah, Jessica, Jewel, and Timothy, her great grandchildren Gavin and Asher, siblings Jim, Arthur, Lorne, Shirley, Betty, Linda, Christine , and Joan, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Those who knew Carrie, knew that she loved life. She was a devoted Mom, Grandmom, and Great Grandmom, but mostly a devoted wife. Carrie took pride in everything she did, whether it was taking care of her garden, going to the cabin, camping, reading or even knitting. She enjoyed it to the fullest.
A very special thank you to the Nursing Staff at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Care Centre, Twillingate as well as the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander and the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's for all their loving care and support.
